21 years in the New Zealand long-run metal roofing industry
Tony Rallis has joined Roofing Industries as Technical Manager and will provide assistance to
ADNZ members, architects and installers with product selection, detailing, specifications and
help with resolving some of the ever-increasing RFIs.
With over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry and, specifically, 21 years in the
New Zealand long-run metal roofing industry, Tony is passionate about the use of long-run
roofing and cladding, from the classic elegance of European style standing seam products to
the traditional iconic corrugates, as well as the contemporary trapezoidal rib profiles. Tony
is very excited about the wide range of products and services that Roofing Industries has to
offer.
Tony currently serves on the New Zealand Metal Roofing Manufacturer’s Association (MRM)
Executive Committee and the Technical sub-committee (which is responsible for the NZ
Metal Roofing and Wall Cladding Code of Practice) and is proud to have been a member of
the joint MRM / RANZ (Roofing Association of NZ) team which helped develop the RANZ

App.
Tony is based at the Roofing Industries National Support Office in Auckland together with
